Specialized Overglaze Painting on Pottery & Ceramics (Ages 16+)

In this course, students will learn various stages of preparing and executing overglaze painting on ceramic ware. The curriculum includes:

1. Introduction to required materials for overglaze painting
2. Understanding glaze bases and their preparation methods
3. Instruction in Mina'i (Persian overglaze) techniques and outlining
4. Learning to use an airbrush for glaze application
5. Implementing Mina'i motifs on ceramic vessels

Upon completion, students will be capable of professionally executing beautiful Mina'i designs on pottery. This course is designed for students who have completed basic pottery-making courses and wish to learn advanced decoration and glazing techniques.
