In the Sanctuary of Art and Heritage: A Meeting with Master Dr. Al-Adwi, the Six-Century Guardian of Omani Pottery  

On the outskirts of historic Muscat, cradled by Oman’s silent mountains, we met a man who breathes life into his land’s spirit through clay: Master Dr. Al-Adwi—a wise, revered artist and unparalleled pottery maestro, inheritor of a glorious six-century legacy.  

Known among Omani artisans as the "Keeper of Heritage," he is not only the guardian of his ancestors’ artistic flame but also a globally minded host, eager to collaborate with Iran’s artists.  

In the humble yet dignified sanctuary of his workshop, history seemed to whisper through the wind caressing unfired vessels. In this space brimming with art and wisdom, we entrusted him with a piece of Iran’s clay: an exquisite pottery masterpiece by the renowned Iranian artist, Ms. Marjan Mohtad.  

This offering was more than a gift; it was a bridge between the two shores of the ever-cultural Gulf, a message from the warm hands of Iran’s artists—a testament to artistic brotherhood and civilizational dialogue.
